• Let's estimate how many folks will attend and forecast revenue - Sandy, how many folks can the room hold with tables set up?

• Sandy is going to ask about the mirror ball at Curves to see if we can borrow it in return for a shout out. She's also going to ask the CA guys if they have any ideas about hanging it.
• Ben has found a good DJ who will cost us about $225
• MK is going to ask OM dance teacher Barbara Chaney if she would lead/teach folks to do the Hustle, Bus Stop, etc. Patricia is going to ask her brothers Mark & Todd too.
• MK has a friend, (also a member of this here wiki), who is quite the entertainer and has agreed to be our MC for the evening. His name is Scott Palmer, and he makes me laugh. He has agreed to don his disco finest for the event.
• The DJ will provide Karaoke - woo hoo! Lavenia Nesmith, OM Jazz queen, said tonight that she'll be doing some Donna Summer and Gloria Gaynor. Marcia is going to ask Jim Alvey to do a few too.
• Patricia suggested the Soul Train dance line, and all agreed it was a brilliant idea.
• A 70's Fashion Contest with prizes - for adults and kids - See if the OM Principals will be the Judges. Maybe Maggie Brown.
• Perhaps some OM trivia with prizes
• Perhaps a dance off between neighborhoods, or if you went to SFES, TSES, THES, etc. or if you've lived here for XX years, or if you were on the swim team, etc.
• We could set up a computer/database where folks can get their "Disco Name" just like Bad Girl Names - www.badgirlswirl.com, click Alias Finder. (I'm Funk Delilah BTW)
• MC could do some of the "wedding" raise your hands if you've lived here X years, etc.
• A group of original residents want to have a reunion. We'll reserve a table for them and consider some other special stuff for them.

• Sandy is going to see if James Ferry can get all the old OM pictures digital. We will do a PPT show with old pics, perhaps some 70s video, disco pics, etc. We should also send out an email to everyone asking them to ideally email pics in. We'll display up on the brand new fabulous movie screen!
• We'll need to do a bit of shopping for decos. One good place to look is www.orientaltrader.com if anyone gets a hankering to do a little reconnaissance.
• Sandy had a marvelous idea - for goodies we can have big glass jars of bulk candy with cool bags to fill up with candy. Perhaps we could get some packaged in 70's packaging, hmmm - Retro Candy & 70s Candy
• We'll look into buying a keg to see if it's a better cost. Could just be cool! We'll sell by the cup.
• We'll get some wine that we'll sell by the glass
• We'll give away soda and bottled water.
• Snacks will be provided in cost of entrance.

• Jessie shared a great idea with me today about folks "tagging" themselves. Jessie, it's late and I am tired, so would you be willing to add it?? It was quite cool, and my vote is to do it.

• Sandy is going to talk with the local Girl Scout toupe leader to see if there are some girls who can come and baby sit with an adult. We can set up games, video, etc in the Tack room for the kiddos to avail themselves of when they are done with dancing. We can suggest that familes bring pillows and sleeping bags for kiddos who want to snooze. More planning needed in this area.
